FOTN (Saturday, 30th April)

Hello my lovely ladies!

I know I am the laziest blogger in the universe and I would like to apologise (again...) for lack of posts...

Hope you all had an amazing long weekend! On Friday I watched the Royal Wedding with my lovely fiancé and afterwards we went to the Exeter’s Food and Drink Festival. It was a great day of stuffing ourselves with delish local food and drink and watching Michael Caine, James and Chris Tanners and other talented chefs cooking mouth watering food. We have also stocked up on some of our favourite chilli products – Chilli Jam and Chilli Jelly from South Devon Chilli Farm.

On Saturday I went shopping and got few bits and bobs. I was looking for a cute dress for the evening and I bought one in H&M. I had an eye on this one for ages and was happy they still had it in every single size :) I tried UK10 as normally that’s my size but it was lil too big in the boobies department so without trying on I just bought size UK8 which was a bit tight but I still managed to squeeze in (talking about sacrifice to look good ;))
There was also this amazing emerald green evening dress which I tried on but size UK8 was bit too tight and unfortunately they did not have any UK10 in stock. I was really upset as I wanted it soo bad and they did not have any on their website either – I will have to have an eye on it on e-bay. I hope I will be lucky enough to get it before August!

I bought few things from Superdrug and will try my best to make a lil haul post very soon.
For now - please see few photos from Saturday night (my make up + dress) and that emerald dress... (Please excuse my ever so happy face :) ).

Take care my lovely beauties!

A little bit of fun :)

Hello lovely ladies!

Browsing through all those beauty blogs, with beautiful photos of perfect make up, hair and nails sometimes it's hard to believe that you girls are not the art students or make-up artists but just normal girls like me :)

So...one day I watched this video of amazing leopard print nails and I was hooked! I wanted those nails!!! Simple you might think? ... well... the only problem is... to save my life I would never be able to do my nails nor my hair... That's the truth - I have two left hands! :( That is it I thought, I will never be able to do that! And then I have found the solution --> Nails stamping art by Konad! :) It is absolutely amazing! Now I am able to have the pretty nails I was dreaming about! I bought a start kit which consist of 2 small special 'stamping' polishes in white and black, 1 image plate, 1 stamper, 1 scraper and 1 bottle of clear top coat. I also bought separately an image plate with my beloved leopard print :) Ok I have to say I am not that good yet and you can see the imperfections on the photos but I don't care - I love it! Few more times and I'll be a pro in stamping my nails ;) Anyway, if I can do it - honestly - anyone can :D

Did any of you beautiful ladies tried the Konad products yet? I cannot wait to buy some more image plates to play with! :D

PS. It's good to be back :)

Christmas and New Year

Hello my lovely ladies!

I know I did not post anything for ages... I am such a lazy bum! I was also a little bit annoyed when most of the photos that I posted on my blog suddenly disappeared... :( I cannot upload some of them again as they were on my phone and I deleted them after posting...

Anyways, how was your Christmas? Mine was pretty quiet. Christmas Eve my fiancé and I spent at home eating Barszcz (Beetroot Soup) with little tortellini stuffed with meat - Yum! And packing presents for Daniel's family.

On Christmas Day we went to Daniel's dad's house. It was a great family day with lots of food, wine and games :) But I missed my family really bad... I spoke to my mum, dad and brother the night before wishing them a Happy Christmas and I had a little tear... I always cope extremely well with being so far away from my folks as I can talk and see them (Skype) anytime I want/need to but Christmas time hit me real hard. I promised my mum that next year we will be together :)
Ok, now a happy bit - presents! :) I'm such a lucky girl!
My lovely Daniel bought me a beautiful Swarovski necklace with locket pedant (as he wants me to have his photo inside so he'll be always close to my heart :) ).

He also bought me a perfume that I wanted for a long time – Chloé in a gift pack with body lotion.

Plus some Body Shop goodies :)
And a ‘sharing’ presents for us:
And voucher for 5 boxes from Graze http://www.graze.com/ (Did not order anything as yet, but will soon and will write a lil post about the experience :)).

Cannot believe Christmas is already over! To the next year! :)

Hope you have all enjoyed your New Years Eve parties! I spent mine with my fiancé and friends in a village hall near Exeter. It was a good night although I will never look at the onion bhaji the same way ever again :D  Will add photos when my friend finally sends them to me :)

But for now I would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all of you gorgeous ladies!

Happy New Year!

Christmas meal with the girls :)

Couple of weeks ago I went out to meet old friend of mine and her friends for Christmas meal and drinks. We went to this lovely place by the quay (where by the way I met my fiancé) and I had a pint of Guinness ( ahh ... I know - classy! But I don't really care - I love it!) and the best salmon salad ever :)
Afterwards we went to a club but because of my stupid tendonitis I couldn't really dance much (just a little wiggle :)).
I think I'm getting old as I was home just after midnight...
This is what I was wearing:

I was wearing old Monsoon black dress, M&S black tights and Faith black ankle boots.

My face: Max Factor Xperience Weightless Foundation Light Ivory 40, Maybelline Pure Cover Mineral Concealer in 01 Nude Beige, Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Transparent and Rimmel 004 Winter Glow 3in1 Powder Blush.

My eyes: Urban Decay The Black Palette in Baraccuda, Gosh Waterproof Velvet Touch Eye Liner in Black Ink, L'oreal Super Liner Carbon Gloss in Carbon Black, L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Extra-Black Mascara.

My lovely ladies, I would like to apologise for being such a lazy bum... No posts for soo long! :(

Last month my lovely fiancé went food shopping and came back with a Glamour mag. He got it for me as he knows how much I like my 'beautifying gems' - there was a 'Nails Inc' nail polish attached. I think there was 4 to choose from and he opted for Hampstead Heath. At first I was a little bit unsure as it looks quite dark, but after trying it on - I loved it! I needed only one coat and although I'm not a pro with dark nail polishes and I needed to correct quite a bit I was very impressed with the result. Just one coat! Ahh... And it's perfect for this time of the year as it's so Christmasy! Perfect for a Christmas Party! (which by the way is this Friday and I still have no dress! :'( ).
The staying power? ... Not so good... Didn't wash any dishes - only had a shower and washed my hands few times (as per usual) and it started to wear off already the next day. No chipping though.
Because it was free and I love the colour and shine - I will use it happily, but because of my 'wonderful skills' with dark varnishes and the staying power I would not purchase it again...
